Not Announcing Intersections

I tested Voice Vista for some weeks. It was calling out the intersections perfectly. Then I subscribed and I can't get it to call out intersections anymore.
As I walk it tells me the direction and the street I'm walking on but nothing at the intersections.
I used to just open the app and go. Do you have any suggestions?
When this app works properly, I really like it. In fact I can relax and not count off streets as I cross them.
