Yes We Can and
YES WE DID!
WE marched in the August sun the 2.5 miles from Foshay to Dorsey.
WE packed the Dorsey HS auditorium in November 2007 saying the
Farmdale Ave crossing next to Dorsey wasn't safe - and the Judge heard
us and rejected MTA's proposal in favor of a grade separation option.
WE packed Foshay Auditorium in July 2008 saying the Harvard Ave
crossing there wasn't safe - and the Judge heard us and denied MTA's
proposal.
WE ARE THE CHANGE THAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.
Next Steps: WE NEED YOU TO COME OUT TO THE MEETING AT DORSEY
AUDITORIUM ON THURSDAY NIGHT
The decision by Judge Koss is a recommendation that will either be
confirmed, amended or overturned by the full Public Utilities
Commission (PUC) on Thursday.
We need you to help us come together for the announcement of the PUC
Decision on Thursday night. We also need to plan our next steps for
the New Year. So on Thursday night, we need you to join with us and a
former MTA light rail operator who will tell you the REAL FACTS about
the dangers of MTA's street-level rail:
