Hello to All Neighborhood Council Reps and Presidents,
As you know NCs have three NC DWP Liaisons and two Supervising
Administrators.
After three years of efforts that the MOU be satisfied relative to
Liaisons, we have three with hopes of reaching seven.
Here are the assignments:
Jeff.C...@ladwp.com: for CDs 1, 8, 9, 14 and 15.
Simone...@ladwp.com: for CDs 3,5,10, 11, and 12
Greg....@ladwp.com: for CDs 2, 4, 6, 7 and 13.
According to the MOU they should do the following:
1.1 Primary point of contact for any reason relative to DWP,
1.3 Attend and participate in board and committee meetings on matters
related to DWP. Receive requests for information and provide responses.
Process request for speakers or for educational materials.
1.4 All NC requests for information should be funnelled through the
Liaison.
1.5 NCs should have Liaison telephone numbers, addresses and email.
Please contact them as soon as possible, advise them when NC meets,
where, time and have them give an update on significant DWP issues. They
should have a place at the microphone, as does the LAPD, Mayor, Council
and DONE representatives. Ask questions, ask for educational forums on
DWP, finances, power, water resources, residential solar programs,
underground power, etc..
This has finally happened, please, please avail yourselves of their
services. They can be a wealth of information for us. They are paid
handsomely to attend to NCs. If we don't use them, then the other five
will never come. This is a gold outreach opportunity.
Make the most of our three Liaisons. It took three General Managers to
finally reach this point.
