LADWP Launches New Dedicated Website for Neighborhood Councils
Site is a One Stop Shop for Neighborhood News and Info from the LADWP
In an effort to improve outreach and communication with Neighborhood
Councils and stakeholders, the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power
today launched a new website dedicated exclusively to neighborhood
news and information. The new site is a one-stop destination for
timely information and materials a neighborhood council needs to stay
informed about LADWP and keep in touch.
The website is information-rich, with the most up-to-date
announcements from the LADWP, including neighborhood news updates, an
upcoming events calendar, and hot topics. It can be accessed driectly
at www.ladwpNeighborhoodNews.com, or through the main www.LADWP.com
website
The new website is interactive, which means neighborhood
councilmembers, homeowners' association members and stakeholders can
be in direct communication with LADWP Neighborhood Liaisons more
easily and more frequently than ever. Vistors to our site can submit
online inquiries, which will be sent immediately to a neighborhood
council representative for rapid response. You can also sign up for
email updates on breaking news and other notifications of interest.
Since the website operates in real time, our neighborhood council
staff can receive inquiries and distribute news and information
promptly. Our site isn't meant to replace direct contact, so if you
prefer you can continue to contact us by phone anytime at 213-367-1361
and one of our Neighborhood Liaisons will be happy to assist you.
Current neighborhood council Board members will automatically receive
email updates. If you are not currently a Board member, please click
here to sign-up for email notifications.
We hope our new website will be a valuable resource for you. Please

the most timely information from the LADWP - in fact, later today
we'll be posting the L.A. Solar Plan being unveiled at a news
