Subject: Construction Notice - Construction Activities from Western
Ave to Arlington Ave - Mid-Corridor

Good Afternoon,

Please find enclosed a construction notice regarding construction
activities from Western Avenue to Arlington Avenue in the Mid-Corridor
portion of the Expo Light Rail Line.

What: The following construction activities are included:

* Waterline relocation

* Conduit/duct bank installation

* Storm drain installation

When: December 2008 through February 2009

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

(intermittent evenings as required, 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.)

Where: Construction crews will be working within the Exposition
right-of-way and along the south side of Exposition Boulevard, in the
streets and intersections, from Western Avenue to Arlington Avenue.

Traffic Impacts:

* Eastbound Exposition Boulevard will be closed from Arlington Avenue
to Rodeo Road. Traffic will be detoured to southbound Arlington Avenue
and to eastbound Rodeo Road.

* Westbound traffic on Exposition Boulevard will not be allowed to
merge onto westbound Rodeo Road. Traffic will only be allowed to
continue westbound on Exposition Boulevard.

* Additionally, trucks and other large types of equipment will
occasionally interrupt traffic as they enter and exit the
right-of-way.Directional signage and flagmen will be used to safely
direct vehicular traffic and pedestrians away from the construction
areas.

(Construction schedules are subject to change for various reasons
including but not limited to: weather conditions, unforeseen
emergencies and other acts of nature.)
