We are really saddened to inform you that Philip (Jomy) Parackal (68) passed away peacefully at his home in Los Angeles on July 13,2021 surrounded by his beloved family. Jomy is originally from Infant Jesus Parish, Neezhoor. Details regarding Visitation and funeral will be announced later.
He is predeceased by his Father Alexander (Chandy Sir) Parackal, Neezhoor
He is survived by his Mother Aleyamma (Pottananikal, Monippilly), Neezhoor
Wife: Gracy (Vallipadavil, Uzhavoor East), Los Angeles
Children: Unni Philip (Nimmy Simon, Chicago), New York
Roney Philip (Silpu Abraham, Tampa), New Jersey

Jomy served the Country as a member of the Indian Airforce for 15 years. After retirement on 1990 he worked for a short period in State Bank of Travancore, Kerala. In March 1993 he with his wife and children migrated to U.S and settled in Los Angeles. He worked for Stadler company and retired as it’s inventory manager. He was very active in the Knanaya Community where he served as it’s secretary and a vibrant member of the Valley Club where he served in various capacities. He was a clever, knowledgeable person, very interested in reading, his capacity to get along with young and old folks is very exceptional.
