website contains some good information
on citizens battling Eminent Domain, including our fight
here in Idaho. You will notice that these'Eminent Domain Takings' by whatever
term, are driven by the same Realtor, Developer & Contractor type lobbyists,
that keep Idaho's Forced Annexation Law, AKA Developer Discount in effect.
Idaho's Annexation Laws allows Developers to avoid paying the
Impact Fees all other State charge out of fairness to taxpayers.
Many feel the recent Sales Tax increase was a Developer supported
ploy, to 'shift' the Property Tax burden and take pressure off Annexation
Reform. The sales tax increase still forces taxpayers to subsidize
infrastructures for the private ventures of Developers.
