Property Tax Assessor threatened as tempers Flare
6-12-2006
Price increases at the pump & Idaho's Property Taxes are running
neck & neck....
Idaho's corporate controlled runaway Urban Sprawl combined with
a free-ride for Developers not paying appropriate Impact Fees, forces irate
Taxpayers to revolt against subsidizing corporate greed.
Threats against Kootenia County Assessor Mike McDowell have prompted a
police investigation, threatening a "Public Official" is a
misdemeanor.
Citizens across Idaho receiving tax-hikes of 25-50%, feel equally
threatened and are demanding immediate Property Tax & Annexation
Reform from their Legislators.
Idaho's high Property Taxes are driven by the
State's unconstitutional Forced Annexation law, allowing Developers to
shift the expensive Infrastructure costs for their Developments, onto the backs
of nearby community Taxpayers.
Years of citizen sponsored Annexation Reform Bills have been defeated, by a
majority of Legislators who have marketed their Votes to influential
Lobbyists for the Realtor, Developer & Contractor Cartel.
Idaho's temporary Governor Risch, is attempting to call a Special Session
to deal with this raging issue, as citizens demand that Forced Annexation
be replaced by Voting Rights for those in the effected
areas..
America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and loose
our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves. "
