Hi! I'm using VoiceAttack to control various parts of my ship in Elite Dangerous.
Today, I made VoiceAttack play certain songs when I told it to, It allowed me to switch songs whenever I want. It even knows not to play multiple sounds on top of each other.
But there is one problem, I can't stop the song, or pause it, which would be nice. Is there any options that I do not know of? A simple option of stopping all sound playback under a command, would be nice :)

This software has made my gaming experience a whole lot better, I don't have to reach for my keyboard for most of the functions, which is nice.

Also, I know song playback is not part of the voice attack scope, but it's still pretty cool to use it for that :P

Hi, Dohman.

I probably wont be turning VoiceAttack into a full-blown media player any time soon, BUT, I do often listen to music when I play games.  I've been using Spotify (if you haven't used it, it is very, very good) in the background and, since it responds to media keys (play/pause/stop/next track/prev track), I just have VoiceAttack press those keys for me.  So, I just pull up a playlist or, 'radio station' on Spotify, choose a song that I want to start with & then I just say, 'pause track', 'play track', 'stop track', 'next track', etc and Spotify responds perfectly without having to switch apps.  There are other music apps out there that respond to the media keys...  you just got to find the right one (I don't have stock in Spotify, but I can't recommend them enough).

Hope that helps some :)
