VoiceAttack keeps telling me that there is no signal or the mic is muted but the bar at the bottom still goes up and down when I talk but the program isn't interpreting anything I say..
Help!

I also have the same problem and yes listening is on. I have tried reloading the application and also changing default settings from main speakers back to headset(dont know if that matters) im at a loss. Please help, I see no options in the configuration menu to set a mic. Also, when i "check for upadates" it does nothing.

If you open your recording devices in control panel, is your default input device set to your headset (or whatever mic you want to use with VoiceAttack)?
VoiceAttack (via Windows speech recognition engine) relies on the default input device to do its thing.  I would make sure the volume level is up in the control panel applet, too.

When you say it does nothing, no box is displayed?  If no box is displayed in a timely manner, is the machine hooked up to the internet?

Du musst in den Sound einstellungen die Rauschunterdrückung deaktivieren.
