Get your Text to Speech to output to Teamspeak (Others can hear, think onboard computer for your crew)

So I was wondering if anyone had tried getting the audio output from VoiceAttack's TTS to output directly to Teamspeak, perhaps as another user / bot.

Think of it as if you are a crew of 4 on a ship flying together, only the captain can give orders to the computer, but the entire crew can hear what the computer says back.

I would assume there is a way to redirect the audio, but does anyone know how this might be done?

I don't think this can be done so easy.  The TTS output comes from the default OS voice selected.  You could mix in the TTS output I guess with a virtual cable.

Virtual cables allow for (software) routing from app to app.  There are a few out there to choose from, most not free.
But I like and use VB-Cable: http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/index.htm   free to use, donateware,  donate a little if you like it and get more virtual device features.

Hm okay interesting, that looks good... I'm wondering how I can get it to only direct audio from one source to another specifically instead of all audio -> source.. ideas?

It might well be possible,  have a play around with VB-cable, and also its companion app voicemeter (virtual mixing). http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Voicemeeter/index.htm

If you go into Control Panel\Ease of Access\Speech Recognition, click on "Text to speach" in the left menu, and then click on the "advanced" button, then you can select audio output device for TTS.

I assume if you have installed the VB-Cable mentioned above, you can select that. And then mix it in the regular sound output (or input?) via the windows volume mixer.

Never tried it though, just a suggestion.
