hello guys! does anyone know if the voices of IVONA has expressions? like Ah, Breath, cry, Laugh, Shhh, Sigh, etc?

I don't know if you can make her laugh and giggle, but try this phrase on for size - I think it comes close.

I also discovered something that I have yet to try, but it seems you can change pronunciation with TTS using the ^, _, and ' keys (this may only work in Ivona voice, I don't know if it's a standard).

 

put ^ at the end of a sentence to have the voice inflection go up (like as in a question)

put _ at the end to make intonation go down

put ' in a word where you want the emphasis to be placed - use this for words that the TTS incorrectly pronounces to get the emphasis where it needs to be.

I just tried this in VA and it does do the voice inflection but it also says carrot, or underscore. Anyway to make it not say that?
