I've been using VoiceAttack A.N.N.A. with Star Citizen (along with a Warthog hotas) and Discord voice chat. For me, this has been an amazing combination, allowing me to pilot with speed and ease. The inclusion of Discord allows me to maintain communication with my squadron members whilst engaging in one aggressive dogfight after another at the same time. So, in a nutshell, I am a very enthusiastic supporter of VoiceAttack. The price of VoiceAttack, for all it gives to me, is a blessing. The quality of VoiceAttack has been consistently in line with my expectations, and the frequency of product releases does a fine job of keeping pace with the Star Citizen updates. I do stay on VoiceAttack Beta releases for the most part, and have not found this to be any significant issue, as even the VoiceAttack Beta releases have good quality. I think, however, that the opportunities of VoiceAttack in Star Citizen can do even more, which brings me to the purpose of this communication.
The Star Citizen Social module Chat requires constant typing. Even something as simple as invoking emoticons is a keyboard activity.
In this area of function VoiceAttack could go a very long way in turning Star Citizen into a much more user friendly environment. I, for one, would gladly pay to be able to play my character without writing dialog whilst I do it.
