New User - 2 Questions

Hey, just started getting into using this and I have a few questions...

1. Ive seen you can have multiple inputs for the same outcome (eg Jump or Hyperdrive in Elite to start Hyperjumping) but I cannot get this to work. I have typed 'Jump;Hyperdrive' in the input but they come up as unrecognised in the active window.  When I have them as two separate inputs, they are recognised?

2. I would like my POV hat inputs defined in ED's control to be recognised so when I say Request Docking it does the menu tabbing and selects the docking request option. I cannot seem to get my X55 HOTAS recognised in VA anywhere though? Is only keyboard and mouse supported for inputs?

Hi, there.

Not sure what is up with Jump;Hyperdrive.  Those *should* be recognized and that has been the accepted means of indicating multiple phrases for some time.  If you could, maybe you can export your profile and upload it to here so I can take a look at it?

With the joystick control, VA will accept joystick functionality as input (for example, you press a button and VA executes a command).  VA does not provide joystick functionality as output.  That would require building a driver and it just squirrels off into a mess.  There is a thread on here that talks about how to use a VA plugin to do this, but some have indicated that it has stopped working since the update to vJoy.  The thread is here if you want to take a month to read it (lol) : https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/voiceattack/eOkWVHK8yy8
