Hello again from Harare. Attached is our May newsletter that went out last week. Last night I got notice from google that it had been marked as SPAM and was not sent so I am resending it today with the expectation that it will reach you.
Thursday presented a very difficult situation for us. As mentioned in the newsletter, we received four children whose home for the past six months has been the prison where their moms are incarcerated. We scurried around and were able to, with only a couple of hours notice, make the arrangements necessary to receive these beautiful little ones. It was an amazing time of excitement and joy for all of us. Thursday the children laughed and played, coming into the office and different homes for hugs and attention. Late afternoon we were notified that a social worker, a rep from Immigration and a rep from the penal system would be coming at 5:00 p.m. to remove three of the children. All three departments failed these children and as a result they were once again dealt an injustice. Please pray for these little ones that God would somehow cover them with His hand of love and protection.
The verse that I used in this newsletter remains true: His blessings are new every morning - great is His faithfulness.
Blessings,
Gaye & Elizabeth
