Greetings Friends -

I trust the new year is off to a good start for each one of you. As you will read in the attached newsletter, 2013 ended with a lot of activity at the Village of Hope - it was a fun for our children and adults alike. We are so encouraged by the increasing amount of interest and involvement by the local community. Pray that this trend will continue and increase. The new school year has begun and off to a good start: we are blessed with excellent teachers and administrative staff.

As we look at 2014 we anticipate the construction of our 9th children's home and receiving eight new little ones, the renovation of an existing building into administration offices (currently five of us are working out of one vacant classroom) and the construction of a youth home that will house 8 to 10 teen girls. As you will recall, Social Welfare requires our teens to leave the 'family home' when they turn 18 but most of them are still in school and require a place to live. We are also looking forward to hosting a team from Edmonton the last two weeks of March, and the Missions Zimbabwe team the first two weeks of May.

As always, we want to thank you for your continued interest in, prayer for, and support of the Village of Hope Zimbabwe. We continue to enjoy the favour and blessing of our Heavenly Father who enables us to meet the challenges of this growing ministry.

Blessings,

Gaye & Elizabeth
