Greetings from Zimbabwe where it is now summer -

Attached is our August newsletter. Although initially it was going to be shorter when we reviewed the month we realized there was a lot to share with you, our partners in interest, support and prayer. As you will read, the Village of Hope Zimbabwe continues to be a happening place. Although we are touching the lives of hundreds and making a huge difference for many, the needs around us remain great. Last night we took in two more children for the weekend at the request of a desperate social worker - both of these children (3 year old boy and 6 year old girl) were just abandoned by their mothers and left waiting for them - two separate incidents but equally tragic. We wish we could offer them a secure, loving environment but we are at capacity and unable to care for them.

Thank you for standing with us. Your prayers on our behalf, on behalf of the children of Zimbabwe, and for the Village of Hope Zimbabwe are our lifeline.
