Attached is our most recent newsletter. As always, there are so many more things that could be included - reasons to rejoice and reasons to pray - but space is limited.

For those of you who might be following Zimbabwe on google, you are aware of the severe economic challenges that are facing the majority of Zimbabweans. As Pastor Zowa said in our all-staff prayer time this morning - “If you are working here at the Village of Hope and getting a pay check, regardless of how small it may be, you are in the top ten percent of Zimbabweans.” 80% - 90% of the people are unemployed, and many of those employed are not receiving a pay check. The victimization of Zimbabweans is forcing hundreds of the estimated 1 to 2 million Zimbabweans in South Africa to return to Zimbabwe where there are no jobs. For us at the Village, the drop in the Canadian dollar has been an added challenge as we operate on the American dollar. Please pray for this beautiful country with some of the most beautiful people in the world.

It was a most exciting day yesterday and we received a new baby into our Village - another child will be given hope for her future. She is our only baby as Isaac is now three and a half.
