Google Maps Android API v2 - Tutorial

Hello,

I am very new to Android and Eclipse!

I have worked through your tutorial at:

Google Maps Android API v2 - Tutorial
http://www.vogella.com/articles/AndroidGoogleMaps/article.html

and got the project to compile and load to my emulator built with
Google API 4.2.2 API 17.

However, when I selected "com.vogella.android.locationapi.maps" app on
the emulator, it activates, queries the web and then gives me the
message:

"Unfortunately, com.vogella.android.locationapi.maps has stopped."

Any ideas?

Hi,

if you read the tutorial carefully it states: http://www.vogella.com/articles/AndroidGoogleMaps/article.html#maps_device

Please test on a real device.
