We recently shared tips on how to connect your work on the Open Science Framework (OSF) to boost its visibility. Here's how you can make the most of your research:

Tip 1. Build a Cohesive Research Network

Connect your projects, preprints, data, and registrations on OSF to create a clear picture of your research journey, making it easier for others to understand and appreciate your contributions.

Do This: Use DOIs to link your resources and create a seamless user experience.

Tip 2. Sync OSF with Your ORCID Profile

Connect your OSF research to your ORCID profile to ensure your contributions are easily found and attributed to you. This will help you connect with potential collaborators and readers.

To get started:

  1. Create an ORCID account

  2. Sign in to OSF through ORCID

  3. Enable automatic updates via Datacite

Tip 3: Improve Discoverability with Clear Metadata

Add clear metadata like funding sources, resource types, and keywords to your OSF projects, registrations, and preprints to improve discoverability.

Try This: Edit the metadata for your projects, registrations, and preprints directly on OSF
