Is there any way to get code from the API to include in wordpress.com
posts? Or are the embed codes themselves form vodpod (and hence
trusted)? Thanks,

Hi Ben,
Yeah, we don't use any magic to post to Wordpress. Just the standard
XML-RPC api. They maintain a "vodpod" shortcode which enables anyone
to add a code like:
[vodpod ....]
to their blog post, and this gets expanded to a real embed code which
points back to Vodpod.com. Currently we don't have way through the API
to post to Wordpress, you have to use the vodpod.com web site.
