Hello! Congratulations on the new version!
Really looking forward to checking it out!

We finally installed the new version on a test server, but we are experiencing some issues when trying to fill in new project form.

I fill in all the fields, press on the + button to create a new dataset, but then, the dataset is not selectable in the list.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Not sure if it's related but this is what is available in the console. Maybe it  helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Dear Samantha,
from the first screenshot it looks like there is some text (“test”) in the Dataset selector/dropdown. That field is typically prefilled with the project name to make searching easier when selecting datasets during project creation.
Although I don’t know the exact name you assigned to the dataset, it’s possible that the filter is currently excluding it (for example, if the dataset name does not include “test”). As a result, the newly created dataset might not appear in the list.
Could you try clearing the filter text in the dropdown and check whether the dataset becomes visible?
It may sound trivial, but it helps rule out the most common cause first.

Best regards,
Tiziano

Thank you for your fast turnaround!

When I clear it, nothing happens. There is nothing to be displayed on the dropdown.

I tried using the same name for the dataset, as the project, and other scenarios .. but nothing works.

Not sure what else I could provide to help you reproduce this issue.

Wishing you a lovely day ahead!

Hi  Samantha-Jane,

The drop-down filter works as expected for me.

You wrote: "There is nothing to be displayed on the dropdown."

As Tiziano pointed out, the drop-down list is meant to allow selection of an existing dataset from the metadata registry, and any input you provide (e.g. "test") serves as a filter. Nothing will be displayed if (1) nothing matches your input or (2) the metadata registry is empty.

But note that you can create a new dataset by clicking the (+) button next to the entry field. This will open a "Create dataset" dialog where you can fill in the details.

Hope this helps

Kind regards
Roland

Thank you all for your feedback and suggestions,

I ended up doing a clean installation, ignoring previous installations and config and it worked for me.
