Hi all, with SKOS Diffing (https://vocbench.uniroma2.it/doc/user/skos_diffing.jsf) via  st-rsc, is it only possible if st-rsc is running on localhost? Is it possible to run st-rsc on a different host and then point VocBench to the service endpoint of the st-rsc service? I've looked through the documentation and UI but haven't seen anything mentioned with regards to this configuration. Any help with this would be appreciated.

cordiali saluti,
Craig Steforn Matadeen

Dear Craig,
the possibility to specify, in VocBench, the address on which the SKOS Diffing tool (ST-RSC) is running, is something we have just introduced in the version 15 of VocBench (the version we are working on at the moment). So, if you want to test it (before it is officially released) you need to download the various source code of the various tools (in particular VocBench and SemanticTurkey) and compile them.
Just remember one important thing about how the SKOS Diffing tool works: VocBench passes to the SKOS Diffing tool the address of the external Triple Store (i.e. GraphDB) containing the data and then the SKOS Diffing (ST-RSC) will connect to that address. If you have installed GraphDB on the same machine as VocBench then, maybe, you are using the 127.0.0.1 address in VocBench to connect to GraphDB and so, VocBench will pass that the address 127.0.0.1 to SKOS Diffing tool and if this tool is then running on a different host, it will have a "wrong" address for GraphDB (since this tool will think that the SKOS Diffing tool is on the same host as itself and so it will have problem connecting to it, since the address is wrong).

Best Regards

Andrea
