Fedarating a query in VB SPARQL tool over the vocab data and the history graph

Hi,

I'd like to access the user data shown in the history view of VB, when I am creating a SPARQL result list. I know the history data is in GraphDB in the vocab_support repository, in a graph named http://semanticturkey.uniroma2.it/ns/support/history. However, I cannot easily access those triples in the VB SPARQL query tool.

WHERE {
  GRAPH <http://semanticturkey.uniroma2.it/ns/support/history> {
?s ?p ?o .
  }
} LIMIT 10

This gives me no results. I suppose the SPARQL tool is connected in the current active vocabulary repository, but can additional endpoints be defined? I would like to add this kind of query as a way of combining the vocab data and the history data. I suppose I could do it externally by running a SPARQL query directly against the GraphDB endpoints, but can I achieve something similar in VocBench?

Dear Joeli,

 

I’m afraid currently this is not possible as the SPARQL interface in VB does not grant access the support repository.

 

However, good news is that the long waited 15.x version, which – I’m sorry – is taking longer than hoped (I can’t say expected), will sport access (for authorized users) to both support repositories and the new MDR repository, the endpoint for the Metadata Registry (MDR). …and speaking of MDR, it is the main reason for this delay, for which we apologize to the community, due to all of the associated changes in the architecture.

I can only say we will do better than [1]…but that’s a very low bar :-D

More seriously, we are there, we have a target for end of the month, but I can’t promise 100% to make it by then. If not then, we will be close to that for sure.
