Base URI

Hi,

Is it possible to define a base URI that is based on which concept scheme or is the base URI only definable at the project level?

I know that you can change the base URI manually, but I am wondering about having it automatically generate the correct one when there is more than one option. Or even having more than one option in general.

Dear Jess,

 

I’m afraid this possibility is not, currently, available. As you probably know, it is possible to rewrite the entire URI (thus including the baseuri) of each resource at the moment of its creation, however there is no shortlist to choose from, it simply has to be edited from scratch pasted from somewhere else.

 

Honestly, we never added this possibility as indeed a project should cover a resource published as a single dataset, and thus sharing the same URI space. I fear that, in most of the cases, this might come from unclear definition of the workflow in maintenance and publication, scoping, etc.. and encouraging this could create more confusion than benefit

However, I do recognize that still some users (as it is probably your case) might have their specific use cases for which this would be desirable. So, I’m putting it on the wishlist!
