I have a scenario in working.

Connecting terms in a solution project to reference model terms in separate project.

Keeping reference projects in separate projects. Making ACL so every other project has read access to reference projects.

I am not using – metadata – imports, for this. Importing large reference definition make solution project less practical.

Giving the effect that the solution project is kept small, only direct referred terms in visible in solution project. But you can navigate further in reference projects through referred terms from “Show in data-oriented graph” in details pane top right.

Solution project defined as model SKOS and lexicalisation SKOS.

Reference projects as SKOS and SKOS.

Going from detailed pane using “Add value from other project”

Adding reference to term in the reference project works.

Using – Show in data-oriented graph, when try to expand the term in referred (skos) project – fail.

Using – Show in data-oriented graph, when try to expand the term in referred (owl) project – works ok.

<cntl>-click to opening a new detailed pane with the referred (skos) project term fail.

<cntl>-click to opening a new detailed pane with the referred (owl) project term works ok.

The issue is the same when accessing in visual graph or in detailed pane fro SKOS reference project. Equal good for OWL reference project.

Scenario has been working ok with solution project as OWL and reference project as OWL.

I have tested in VB13 and in VB14.

VB projects are migrated. But I did a test with a new created reference project on VB14 as well. The same error occurred.

I run Windows 11 Enterprise. 24H2 OSbuild 26100.4061

Java - OpenJDK Runtime Environment Zulu21.40+17-CA (build 21.0.6+7-LTS)

Are there some definitions I lack in settings?

Or is this as SW issue, you need to handle?

Two files are attached.

Java error trace.

Project properties from project list – Action – properties.

Thanks.
