Dear all,
for the second time I face the same error (org.eclipse.rdf4j.query.QueryEvaluationException: java.io.EOFException) while working on a skosxl project. Attached is the screenshot of the error.
As it was blocking, I re-created the project the first time. I don't see any reason for this error, any idea ?

In addition, I have noticed that 2 "undo" actions appear in validation (while I don't remember having using the undo button at any time...)

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Armelle

Dear Armelle,
regarding the exception you reported (org.eclipse.rdf4j.query.QueryEvaluationException: java.io.EOFException) could it be possible to have a copy/export of the data? it would help us to replicate the issue and investigate on the cause.
About the undo actions, please keep in mind that the undo can be triggered also by pressing ctrl+Z or cmd+Z (on Mac), so it might be that it has been executed accidentally.

Best regards,
Tiziano

Dear Tiziano,
Thanks for your reply. We're still investigating (the error, and also the slowness while navigating even when there is no error.). Unfortunately I can't send you the data since it must stay confidential. I'll let you know if I manage send you an extract but I'm afraid this won't cause the same error.
Best regards,
Armelle

Dear all,
We still are facing difficulties with lowness (for example : string query in the search box never ends, screenshot attached), and sometimes error (org.eclipse.rdf4j.query.QueryEvaluationException: java.io.EOFException). The number of triples for this graph skosxl is 323870. Is that an amount that Vocbench should normally manage ?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Armelle

Dear Armelle,
was this project created as "CreateLocal" or was created as "CreateRemote"? In the case of "CreateRemote" which "Configuration" was selected?
The search performances depends of the type of repository ("CreateLocal" or "CreateRemote") and, in case of large dataset, it is better to use the "CreateRemote" (so data is stored in GraphDB and the search optimization provided by GraphDB plugins are automatically used by VocBench).

Best Regards,
Andrea

Dear Andrea,
Many thanks for your help. Our configuration is "createRemote" BUT we don't use GraphDB, we still are on SemanticTurkey and Karaf. As I see in the manual, we should try GraphDB. We'll install it as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Armelle

Dear Armelle,
what external tool are you using to store the data, since you are not using GraphDB but you are creating the project with the "CreateRemote"? Since you are using an external tool, maybe the other errors you are having (the EOFException) could be related to such tool as well.
Regarding using GraphDB, you can use the free version, but remember that the current version of VocBench is NOT compliant with GraphDB 10.x , so you need to use a previous version (e.g. GraphDB 9.8.1 or GraphDB 9.6.0).
Best Regards,
Andrea
