Thanks Mike for taking the lead on this list. Are there any other
local groups that we should reach out to?

I've sent some emails to some folks at the University of Maryland but
so far no response. I don't really have any contacts there, I just
tried to find some people that seemed like they might be interested.
I also have contacted some folks in the Intelligence space I know, but
haven't heard back yet. Other than that, I don't know any specific
goups to contact. Any other ideas?

Liz,

You might want to reach out to the New Media group: http://www.meetup.com/socialweb/

While not specifically interested in semantic web, it is listed as one
of the potential discussion items and they have a very large list.
