VocalKitTest Compiles but then Crashes on Launch

Hi Guys,

VocalKit looks very exciting, so I was really impressed to see
something like that available. However, I'm using Brian's nicely
packaged XCode project, and trying the VocalKitTest project... The
project builds correctly, and installs on my device. However it
crashes on launch, or rather SpringBoard kills it (permissions problem
is seems).

Any help with this would be so gratefully received!

Hey Peter,
That's odd, it should just work. Can you send some more details,
SS or Logs? Does it work on the simulator? I'm off camping this
weekend so I may not get a chance to look at it for a few but there
are a few others out here that may be able to lend you a hand.

I am pretty sure that is the mmio bug that happened in xcode 3.2.3... All you have to is put this line in pocketsphinx.conf
-mmio no

Hi Brian,

I think I'm just doing something wrong with the provisioning... everything works in the Simulator, but Springboard is killing the app:

Fri Aug 13 16:50:30 unknown com.apple.launchd[1] <Error>: (UIKitApplication:name.peterlaurens.cyclemapper[0xf114]) posix_spawn("/var/mobile/Applications/BA052A36-D892-4F6E-B92A-305728712425/CycleMapper.app/VocalKitTest", ...): Permission denied

I have renamed the app name.peterlaurens.cyclemapper, and it's this in the Info.plist and in the properties file. It builds and installs on the device correctly.

I'm going to dig further, but currently I have no clear direction :-).
