The VNLC Voice: Keeping you updated week to week!
Winter 2011Week 9

Hello VNLC! Guess who this is? Nancy Vu, your other PR Co-head. Just in case you forgot. Sorry for being MIA, but if you knew me, you would know that I'm slightly crazy & I like to pack in as much classes as I can in one quarter. Therefore, I disappear from the face of Earth due to endless studying & late nights, or early mornings, depending on whether you prefer knowing that I start homework around dinnertime or that I go to bed after the sun rises. But no worries, I'm alive & functioning! So now that your FAVORITE PR is back, (yes, I've been reading the lovely newsletters Justin has been sending out to you all, saying what a wonderful PR he is :P) let's get down to business! Since the quarter is finally ending, we want to celebrate before finals start kicking in, so check out our bonfire event this Friday! You know where to find the details. Happy reading, everybody!

Upcoming Events

    Friday3/4 Bonfire!

    Hey VNLC!!

Winter quarter is coming to an end, hopefully you all did well on your midterms! This week is a great chance to relax before finals madness starts, so why not spend it with your favorite VNLC people (aka ME. Oh I guess everyone else is alright too). To commemorate the ending of Winter (and its piss awful weather) we are going to have a bonfire at the beach!! Alright, I know the weather is still cold, but that is why we are going to make a bonFIRE, not a bonREFRIDGERATOR. And last time I checked, my Fire type Pokemon can destroy Ice type Pokemon, and Pokemon has never steered me wrong or lied to me before! So don’t be a mamby pamby and come out to make some smores, chips, and hot dogs! WE HAVE METAL SKEWERS THIS TIME.

We will be meeting up at 6 PM at De Neve (our usual spot) then heading down to Dockweiler Beach (Its near LAX). The beach closes at 10 pm, so we should be back by 11 PM the latest. The cost will be $2 and rides will be provided.

Hope to see you all there!

    Facebook Event
    When: Friday, 6 PM
Where: Meet at De Neve, rides will be provided to the beach
