Saturday Vietnamese Tutorial

When / Where: Every Saturday, 9 am to 12 pm at San Fernando Valley

What: Want to teach Vietnamese? Come join us as we head over to
Hung Vuong Vietnamese Center on Saturdays to teach Vietnamese to kids.

What: Rendering Encouragement in Academic Commitment for
Higher Education was founded to motivate the students of Canoga Park
High School to attend college by establishing a mentor-mentee
relationship with them. Come tutor Math, Science, English and other
subjects.

Winter 2011 — Week 7

Hey VNLC! Week 7 is here, you know what that means!? I don't know, that's why I asked you. Just kidding, I would not leave you guys hanging like that. Take particular notice of the Coalition of Vietnamese Organization Blood Drive going on this week. If we get a combined effort between VSU, VCH, and us we will get a free banquet! Yay Free Food! We are also having Movie Night this Thursday since we have not had one in a while! Have a fantasmic week VNLC. And stay beautiful.

CVO Blood Drive!

Hey VNLC!!

This week (Monday, February 14th-Friday, February18th), VCH is teaming up with VSU and VNLC for a blood drive. Please donate if you can and tell all your friends to help donate at the UCLA Blood and Platelet Center in Ackerman Union on the A-level across from the UCLA textbook store. Remember to put down CVO or VCH/VSU/VNLC when you donate blood! Thanks!

Movie Night!

Hey VNLC!!

So much for that nice SoCal weather we had last week, according to the weather dude/dudette/website it’s going to rain until Saturday =(. Can’t go outside to do anything, so might as well stay indoors and watch a movie! If you’re going to watch a movie, might as well make it with your favorite VNLC people! We are having movie night this Thursday!

Technically, we are leaving it up to YOU, the members, to decide which movie we are going to watch. But there is only one clear and obvious choice. Also Jimmy Le has not seen Inception yet. If you want to watch a different movie, please leave a complaint in the comment section down below and we will get back to you eventually.

We will also be having snacks and other board games there as well! Hope to see you all there! Meet 7:45 PM at De Neve if you do not know where Leon’s apartment is!
