Interacting with VIX API via C wrapper

Hi there!
I've accidentally discovered this group after unsuccessfully poking around automating my routine tasks with VMWare VIX C wrapper.
Unfortunately, after running eyes over all discussions I've not found something close to my case.
I've installed latest version of VIX API and trying to make work poweron sample. 

My dev environment is VS10, that is set up according to this little guideline.

However, SO community appears to be unfamiliar with VIX API, so I decided to post my question here as a last hope.
Here is my question on SO. I've tried everything I could but bug nature still unclear for me.
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

I read the SO question and this and I am not sure I understand what you're asking for ... that said the C api and VMWareTasks are really not related.

My goal is pretty straightforward. I've compiled very basic sample from official site and VM did not actually powered on after execution. I'm not experienced with this technology and that's why ask to check if properties of my project misconfigured somewhere.

I'm rather new to VS so it is possible, that few fields are filled incorrectly.

This project (VMWareTasks) works well, it's all .NET.
