Code only running on Windows ?

Am I right to assume that this library would only run on Windows ?

A quick test showed me it depends on windows-specific libs such as OLE32.DLL .. Any way to circumvent this ?

Got the answer :

vmwaretasks won't run on Linux.

Correct, VMWareTasks using VixCOM which is Win32 only.

Thanks for the confirmation, Mr Doubrovkine. That's a great lib you've built.

I did try to go through VMWare's .Net APIs, it's a mess. How comes such a big company documents so poorly, not to mention the maze they make with their websites... I could fall back on vmwaretasks 1.7 and I'm grateful for it.

I haven't worked on this for a while - there's a .NET VMWare API now? Care to share a link?

Here's for v5.5 :

I've read that v6.0 has been released on March 12th, but I haven't had a look at it, and don't plan on, yet.
