TimeSync issue with 3x NW6.5 Guest systems

Hi,

I have 1x VMware Workstation Host (w2k3) installation and 3x Netware Guest
systems running nw6.0-sp5. These servers are part of a single PArtition
replica ring. I have 1x server set as single and the other two point to it
and are secondary type. I have extended the polling interval and short
polling interval to 3600 & 600 respectivley. I have turned vmwtool synctime
to off and the 2x replicas getting time from the single reference cannot
stay in synch. they are consistantly out by 5 to 7 seconds.

what am I doing wrong?

You can try to use the vmwtool synctime, that comes directly from the
host and feeds into the 'bios' of the guest. The guest os must sync to
that to use it.

Then there is timing in the guest. Scan the knowledge base for that,
there has been a huge issue with it after Wxp and W2K3 where released.
