Hi,

I have a very peristent error with VMWare Server, which is running on a
Windows 2003 Server- machine;

We have a company of about 50 people, and the server is intended to make
these virtual machines available to the employees. They're supposed to start
them through the VMWare Management Interface, which can be viewed with
Internet Explorer.\

Problem is, that since a week or 2 this is not possible anymore! They can
view the list of vm's, but it's not possible to start any of them.

I've looked into the server's event viewer, and it lists a couple of errors
of vmauthd:

event ID 100.

I have tried reinstalling the VMWare software as well as IIS, but after one
day the problem reoccurs..

any ideas? :-)

Hope this will help you

Thanks Kai

unfortunately, it still exists... i've searched all newsgroups and
comminities, but there doesn't seem to be a solution to this.

my conclusion is that VMWare sucks ;)
