VMware Authorization Service Failure

Hi there,

Anyone getting the following error on a Windows 2000 (Professional)
host?
"The VMware Authorization Service service terminated with
service-specific error 6000005."

The Event Viewer (Application Log)produce another detail as follow:
"Failed to create event for named pipe: Overlapped I/O operation is in
progress (997)" and "Could not obtain permission to the default
desktop: The requested resource is in use (170)"

The user is with administrator rigths.

I am running on a notebook with a wireless LAN connection. Did the
same setup on a desktop did not turn up any problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
