I would like to install a 64 bit operating system inside Vmware
Workstation 6.5. However my host operating system is only running 32
bit. However the processor inside my computer is 64 bit compatible, it
is the Intel Centrino Duo (Intel Core 2 Duo Processor). However the
processor does not have Intel VT unfortunately.
When I try and install a 64 bit virtual machine inside VM it says that
the host cannot support 64 bit and that it will not run.
Is there anything that I can do to fix this. I have heard that it is
possible to install a 64 bit os on a 32 bit os host as long as the
processor is capable of running 64 bit.
Any help in this matter would be highly appreciated.
Thank you

I think it's the opposite direction. You need a 64 bit Workstation on
the host, which requires an 64 bit host OS.
I've installed a 64 bit Linux, for hosting both 32 and 64 bit guests.
