Again I have a problem with the rights mismanagement of XP - it renames
and moves my *.vmem files into an write protected folder, so that it's
impossible to resume the VM after a suspend :-(

I've tried to rename and move the files into their original location,
but this made not work a resume. Actually I have an short vmem file,
containing a signature but no data, and an vmem file of the right size,
but with a synthetic name, accompanied by a folder of the same name and
extension *.vmem.lck (or .kk), containing an file MS65462.kk with
"uuid=a0-88-52-a8-32-1e-b2-11-80-00-64-45-6e-4e-69-73 164 1 X
128788260434375000 lc=891715075"

Problems accompanied by .lck and .kk files seem to be known, and a
couple of tools are offered to "update drivers", but I don't want to
risk more trouble from using such software.

Does anybody know more about the strange behaviour of XP, or malware,
firewall or AV software, that could cause such problems?
