Hello,
I have installed vmware for windows 30 day trial, and ontop of that i have
installed slackware linux. i then created another slackware linux
installation. and set it up with the same ip etc. and i also setup NAT with
port forwarding. it works on one of the slackware virtual pc's but the
other one refuses to work. and also it will not let me make perm changes to
the port forwarding amounts

If anyone can help please let me know.
Thanks
Ryan

You can't give both VM's the same IP address and then connect then
both to the same network (VMware NAT) at the same time.

How are you making the changes? Through the GUI or by editing the
file directly? (hint: don't edit the file directly while VMware is
running)

Hello,

Im sorry if i didnt make myself clearer on the matter but only one vmware pc
is running at any one time.
The changes to the port forwarding are all being made while not being
connected to the internet and without the vmware running. if there is
anything else you would need to know please let me know.

thanks for your help so far
