Vmware for Linux under FreeBSD

Hi all,

I've got a new PC and would like to have the sole OS FreeBSD 5.3.
Unfortunately, for work reasons I need to run Vmware (for Windows XP,
2000, 2003 Server emulation) and have in the past used Red Hat Linux.

Does anybody have any knowledge on getting vmware 4.5 to run on
FreeBSD? I looked in the ports section, but could find something only
for version 2 or 3?

Does this idea have any legs or is vmware tied heavily to linux?
