Linux newbie here, but have tried several times to install Redhat 9 on a
VMware workstation. I downloaded the ISO images for another project and
have used these disks before, so I know there ok, but when I reach about 50%
through the second disk, I receive an error that the image file could be
corrupt. I used the default installation and left the RPM's as defaults as
well, but when it reaches the RPM for the .PDF reader, I receive this
message. I finally tried to install it, again excluding the PDF readers,
and again, it failed on a similar place but different RPM. Could it be a
configuration in VMware? I'm running this on a Windows XP home edition, and
VMware workstation 4.0.2. Any Ideas?
Thanks!
