Hey there,
I have installed VMWare on mandrake 9 several times without a problem. I am
now running MDK10 Community and it is running great. The problem that I am
getting is that when I run vmware-config.pl I get errors. At first I didnt
have a c compiler installed. I installed gcc and now thats fine. Now it is
asking
"What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your
running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]" I tried the default directory path. That
doesnt work. So I installed the source from the MDK cd's. Now I get this
error: "hat is the location of the directory of C header files that match
your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]"
But when I open a terminal and do a uname -r, it replies that I am running
2.4.25-2mdk

Anyone have any guesses as to how I can resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry folks I forgot to copy before that last paste.
The error I get now is: "The directory of kernel headers (version
2.6.3-4mdk) does not match your running
kernel (version 2.4.25-2mdk). Even if the module were to compile
successfully,
it would not load into the running kernel."

Sorry about that
