I have (at last!) managed to get a guest OS working under the Linux
evaluation Workstation (Fedora Core 2). I have some previous experience
of the XP edition but wanted to check out Linux.

It seems to be running rather slow - can anyoneone point me to any (simple)
guidelines to optimising Linux for VMare please? I'm not much of a Linux
wiz (yet)!

I'm running on 1GB RAM

>> Utilizing the tools inside VMware, you could move the VM to an
efficient or high performance microSD on a card reader.

>> If you haven't you should optimize your host system's RAM and allocate
more RAM to the running virtual machine.

>> Install external RAM or better yet upgrade your cache if you built
your computer.

>> You can also instead of use a dynamic-sized virtual hard drive, use a
fixed-sized hard drive.
