Howto enable VNC (RemoteDisplay) in VMPlayer 3

You may have noticed that the native VNC client in vmplayer 3 has been
disabled. I'm not sure about 3.1, but this is true of 3.0. Here's a
easy way to reenable it:

0. save a copy of /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libvmplayer.so/libvmplayer.so
for safe keeping
1. open /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libvmplayer.so/libvmplayer.so in vi
2. search (/ command) for "RemoteDisplay"
3. change "-sRemoteDisplay.vnc.enabled=FALSE" to "-s
RemoteDisplay.vnc.enabled=TRUE". Note the [space] after the "-s" is
important.
4. save your new libvmplayer.so and start vmplayer as you normally
would.
