Hi

I've installed VMware-view-open-client-4.5.0-297975.x86_64.rpm on a
Fedora Core 4 x86_64 system. The installation had no issues.
rdesktop-1.4.0-2 is installed on the system. When I try to execute
vmware-view, I see:

vmware-view: symbol lookup error: vmware-view: undefine symbol:
g_mkdir_with_parents

Any thoughts about how to solve this problem?

Thanks!

You should either try using the 32-bit version, or build the 64-bit
version from source. Unfortunately, we're linking the 64-bit version
against a newer version of glib than what your system has.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply! I did try to build it, but didn't find one of
the required packages present in the Fedora Core 4 distribution.

In the meantime, our team has decided to move to Fedora Core 14, and
the standard 64-bit RPM installed and worked fine on this release.

Thanks again for the help!
