network extraction failed

Hi All,

I tried running network extraction for the vessel segments present in this stl file. The network extraction algorithm didn’t successfully find the lengths and radii of all the branches. 

I used the surface clipper to cut open a terminal end of a vessel. Only the length of the segment that was cut open was computed successfully and I think none of the other branches are detected.

 I understand the problem might be due to the surface of the geometry present in the stl file shared above. I've ben able to successfully compute the network properties for the other inputs that I have tested so far in VMTK. Could someone please have a look at the file?

Hello Everyone,

Please find the clipped surface and the code  that I am using to obtain the centerline measures.

Could someone have a look at this ? I would like to know why the centerline extraction is not working for this dataset.
