Hi everyone!

I need to convert a .vtp file of a centerline, created with vmtk, to a file format compatible for solidworks like .iges .3dm or similar 3d or surface. I Need to create a stent using a sweep that follows the vessel centerline.

I also used paraview to create .dcm. .vmt  .pvd files form the centerline, I'm not good with paraview by the way.

I tried to convert the .vtp file to a .stl file using vmtk but the new .stl file is always empty  and I can't see anything, I don't know why.

Is there anyone who can help me, please? thanks a lot

Dear Giovanni,
vmtksurfacewriter supports the following file formats:
-f Format (str,1) in ['vtkxml', 'vtk', 'stl', 'ply', 'pointdata', 'tecplot']: file format
