Problem using vmtk for Parent Vessel Reconstruction

Hi everyone,

I am new to vmtk and trying to reconstruct a geometry from a terminal aneurysm using the 3 python scripts from the website. 

I've already installed vtk 6.2.0. Unfortunately, the first script (patchandinterpolatecenterlines) doesn't work and there is an error "AttributeError: SetInput". I've read about the replacement of "SetInput" in vtk 6 (http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/VTK/VTK_6_Migration/Replacement_of_SetInput), but I am not very familiar with python. 

Are there any tips or anybody who can help me? Many thanks!

Hi Daniel,

we are in the process of releasing a new vmtk version which is compatible with VTK6. Just so you know, the source code on https://github.com/vmtk/vmtk already is, but the current binary release (1.2) is not. We’re shooting for January 20th release for vmtk 1.3.

In the meantime I just committed the fixes to the vmtkApps (thanks for pointing it out).

Hello everyone,

I am new to vmtk to and I got an error using this script myself. My error is something with vtkXMLPolyDataReader thus I think I can't read in the center lines. I computed the centerline files as well as the voronoi surface, but I'm stuck with this patchandinterpollatecenterlines.py script.

Can the error arose by that that I initially had an stl file with open inlet and outlets, I closed it in meshlab, then I saved again then reconverted to .vtp format and make the center lines.
