This kit also includes the following changes from previous ECO kits:

DRIVERS_V582P041 - ECO Rank: 1 - Corrects a potential crash
----------------
UDPDRIVER, - Correct the possibility of an undetected error
TCPDRIVER, when allocating a socket data structure, which
IPDRIVER could cause a crash.
DE 10780 ECO Rank 1
BGDRIVER - Performance improvements for Integrity systems.
ECO Rank 3.

DRIVERS_V582P030 - ECO Rank: 1 - Corrects a potential crash

BGDRIVER - Allow sockaddrs greater than 16 bytes. This allows
programs that use a data structure large enough to
hold a sockaddr_in6 to run.

INETDRIVER - Allow AF_UNSPEC (0) as the family in sockaddrs as
well as AF_INET.

UCX$IPC_SHR - Always set the address family to AF_INET when
putting the BSD 4.3 sockaddr in BSD 4.4 format.

NOTE: You must reboot your system after installing this patch in order
to load the new driver(s).

The old versions of the images will be renamed to *.EXE_OLD.

In article <00A82CF7.9...@triton.process.com>, bry...@PROCESS.COM
says...

The first drivers ECO for V5.8-2 (p013, IIRC) also applied to
V5.7-2, as mentioned in its .readme file. The most recent 2, p041
and p050, don't mention TCPware V5.7-2 in the .readme. Does this
ECO also apply to V5.7-2, or should I hang on to DRIVERS_V582P013
for that. (BTW, the readme for V582P013 explicitly says it supersedes
DRIVERS_V572P120, but that ECO kit is still in the 57_2 directory at
ftp.process.com.)

The method that information about filters is sent to the IPDRIVER was
changed between TCPware 5.7 and 5.8. This makes TCPware 5.8 IPDRIVER
incompatible with TCPware 5.7 if you are using filters (because
NETCU/NETCP have not been updated with the new format). If you are not
using filters, then this kit will work for you. For those of you using
filters it will work if you delete the IPDRIVER that it puts in place
and use a TCPware 5.7 IPDRIVER, which should be in
TCPWARE:IPDRIVER.EXE_OLD
