Position Systems Engineer (Programmer / Analyst)
Project: Dealer Inventory Alliance
Dealer Inventory Alliance (DIA) is an "open" vendor-managed-inventory
process in which International Truck and Engine Corporation assumes
responsibility for managing agreed-upon segments of its dealers' parts
inventories. The forecasting and replenishment logic that is part of
the dealer's Business System (BSV) will no longer be used for DIA
controlled parts. Instead, International will download key inventory
and demand data from the dealer's BSV to a central server, use it's
own forecasting and replenishment logic, and create suggested stock
orders that will then be passed back to the dealer's business system.
